He is a graduate of İstanbul University Faculty of Business Administration. Since 1976 he has been involved in various companies within Soytaş Holding Inc. He worked in foreign contracting services in Libya between 1981-1983 and from 1984 to 1985 he was involved in foreign trade issues in England. He speaks English. He is the chairman of the board of directors and the executive director of  Soytaş Holding Inc. and of the other companies within the Soytaş Holding Inc. since 1998.

Sinan Kolat is a graduate of Robert College and the Faculty of Business Administration of Sabancı University. He started his professional career at Ernst & Young Risk Analysis Department. He then joined the Soytaş Holding company after working at MicroCDP. He is still serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Soytaş Holding Inc.

He is a graduate of Business Administration Department of Anadolu University. He started his professional career in 1996 in Süteks Mensucat Inc. in accounting department under Süteks Group of Companies. After working in the accounting department of Süed Mod Dericilik Co.Ltd. 1997, he is working within Soytaş Holding Inc. since 1998. Apart from his membership in the Board of Directors, he has been serving as Accounting Manager since 2005.
