Soytaş Holding was founded in 1973 in Istanbul by a group of entrepreneurs led by Salih Zeki Kolat in order to operate in the field of social investments and organizations. Today, Soytaş Holding continues to expand and diversify its investment portfolio in addition to being in the construction, real estate, tourism and service sectors in the domestic and abroad through its subsidiaries. In 1975, Soytaş pioneered the holiday system for its partners in Turkey and Part 1 facilities in Bodrum Turgutreis were the first holiday facility in this field. Following the intense interest, new facilities were built and  and put into service in Bodrum Akyarlar, Izmir Foça and Istanbul Büyükada. Some of the projects of Soytaş Holding were; Various holiday village projects in İstanbul Büyükada, Bodrum Turgutreis and Akyarlar, İzmir Foça, Beyoğlu; Business Center Complex in İstiklal Caddesi; Various social housing projects in İstanbul Erenköy, Şenesenevler, Kozyatağı, Koşuyolu regions; Modin 1-2-3 luxury holiday sites and as foreign contracting services in the housing, school, and civilian buildings in Tobruk region of Libya. In the coming periods, Soytaş Holding aims to expand its portfolio through the companies in the group with agriculture, food and energy sectors in addition to real estate, real estate management, holiday village management and service sectors.
